Supporting human trafficking victims

Ashiana Sheffield supports women who have suffered human trafficking and abuse and is part of the national referral mechanism of support for human trafficking victims. 

Since 2016 Eyam Church Social Action Team has been helping by providing welcome packs and bedding packs to Ashiana. 

Welcome packs are given to women who have just fled from their abuser and have nothing.  They contain nightwear, towel, toiletries, etc.  Bedding packs enable women moving out from a refuge to have the basics: sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases.  

We have delivered 63 welcome packs and 82 bedding packs since 2016, from donations of items given to us.  Thank you for your generosity!  Please keep it coming.
